Paul Carr
Lead Guitar
Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
Paul Carr: Will the real Rick Parfitt please stand up! The white Telecaster, the Marshall stack, the blonde barnet, legs apart and here we go. From the opening chord it's plain to see the similarities. Rick is Paul's idol and after seeing QUO Live! nearly 150 times, he knows exactly what's needed in a performance. "A lot of hard-work, but it's been well worth it" says Paul in a recent interview. "We have had a great couple of years and played some huge gigs but I personally think there is more to come". Ambition? "Yes! Support band for QUO".
Mike Grady
Lead Guitar
Vocals/Harmonica
Mike Grady: Another of the old school, Mike is very influential in the rehearsal room. You could call him the mechanic of the band as he takes all the nuts and bolts and puts them together to form a finely tuned engine. Mike's knowledge of Quo is unbelievable and he has the definitive "Rossi" sound. Although the quiet one, he comes to life with a guitar in hand. "I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster and never want it to stop" says Mike. Ambition? "Certainly!  To do a gig with Alan Lancaster".
Dave Owen
Drums
Dave Owen: Dave is tailor-made for State of Quo. When the guys met up for the first time in the studios, he rocked his way through three hours of Quo stuff without once making a mistake. Dave certainly knows his Quo and never lets up from start to finish. "This band is a dream come true for me and long may we rock", he says. Ambition? "I suppose I've already fulfilled one by joining these lads but hey!...Support band for Quo"
Chris Gleeson
Bass
Chris Gleeson: The new boy. Chris got into music in the mid 70's, mainly Quo, Slade & The Beatles. He played with Mike in the band Slowdog in 1981-83, with a set that happened to include half a dozen Quo songs of course. He's very pleased to be back playing Bass in a band again after several years out of the business, but couldnt resist making it known he was available for the job, so here we go! Ambition? At the moment just to settle in, and be part of a fine band.
Occasionally featuring
John Coghlan
Drums
John Coghlan: Needs no introduction. Just seems to be having a ball. John really is in peak condition and at the top of his form at the moment.
